Our College :
St.Joseph's College is a legacy of the 19th century handed down to us by venerable fathers of the society of the Foreign Mission of Pairs. The college has strength of 3500 students with 175 staff members and 10 faculties with 6 PG courses.The college bears the Motto "Labor Omnia Vincit", Work Conquers All.With an abiding faith in the efficacy of her labours,the college strives hard to impart value based education aimed at the formation of the integral personlity of the student.
Our Department :
The Departments of Commerce and Economics were started in the year 1991. The Commerce depatment was upgraded as a P.G department in the year 2004.At present the department has 20 members of the staff and 600 Student. The depatments have pioneered many events in the college,including a National Level Seminar held in 2005.This international seminar is yet another feather in the cap of the deapartments.
To explore the global business opportunities and to meet the changing global demands.
To promote entrepreneurship by developing personal competencies of our entrepreneurs and human resource to enjoy competitive advantages in the international market.
To understand the impact of Globalisation on the common man.
Call for Papers
The Conference calls for papers from the scholars,Academicians,Industrialists and Students in any one of the following sub-topics:

- Environmental accounting and resource management
- Waste mannagement
- BPO & KPO(Business Process Outsourcing and Knownledge procees Outsourcing)

- Intellectual property rights
- Consumer attitudes
Submission of Papers :
A one page abstract of the research paper should be submitted as an E-mail attachment using MS word to email@example.com as well a CD on or before 20.02.2008

The above registration fee includes lunch.refreshment & seminar kit

Accomodation can be arranged on prior request
No T.A.shall be paid to the participants.
